FORAGE CULTURE – BRING WILD SPICES TO THE KITCHEN
Spices don’t have to be imported, and they don’t have to be expensive. Learn about the wild spices growing all around you from sour sumac to sweet spicebush in a seasonally minded class for even the most beginner chef or forager. More than just a class on what plants grow around us, we’ll go in-depth into how to actually use them in the kitchen along with stories of failure and success, history and myth. The class is designed to be repeated as we rotate flavors with seasons. We will still be taking Covid precautions, but this class will involve the senses to your comfort level.
